Terry
Montlick Laboratories LLC is full-service acoustical engineering
firm which designs
and evaluates home theaters worldwide. Most of our services
can be
performed electronically, without the need for a site visit. We rely on
photographs, dimensions, and other data you provide. The more complete
this
information is, the better we can design a theater that meets your
specific sonic
needs. Our work is based strictly on scientific acoustical analysis, not guesswork, a hand clap, or subjective listening to sound played in the room. Every home theater we do is custom, yet we routinely work on theaters with budgets of under $10,000 and over $500,000.

He then replaced fellow MIT alumnus Danny Hillis (founder of the pioneer Thinking Machine Corp.) at the Milton Bradley Company, where Terry invented the first speech recognition integrated circuit for personal computers. He holds 5 patents in the field of digital audio signal processing, and has mixed sound for independent films. He is also an expert on object-oriented programming.
